PWInsider reports that Erick Rowan is currently in Birmingham, Alabama meeting with doctors for a post-surgery check-up. Rowan injured his bicep during he and Luke Harper’s SmackDown Live Tag Team Title defense against The New Day at SummerSlam. He worked through the injury two days later on SmackDown Live to drop the titles to The New Day in a No Disqualification match.
He has initially been given a timeframe of four to six months for his return.
