– Kevin Owens returned to action last night in Richmond at a live event to challenge AJ Styles in a Steel Cage match. “KO” hadn’t competed since January 9th on SmackDown Live when he and Sami Zayn lost to AJ Styles, Randy Orton, and Shinsuke Nakamura in a 2-on-3 Handicap match. Owens was dealing with a back injury but will still team with Sami Zayn tonight at the Royal Rumble against AJ Styles for the WWE Title in a 2-on-1 Handicap match.

Jason Jordan has also been dealing with a back injury but returned to action last night as well at a live event in Baltimore. He teamed with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns but only reportedly did one move the entire night. He is still scheduled to defend his RAW Tag Team Titles with Seth Rollins against The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro) tonight at the Royal Rumble.

– Former WWE Superstar Tommy Dreamer recently did an interview with The Wrestling Estate and was asked about possibly appearing in the Royal Rumble match. Here’s what he had to say:

“I will do anything for any wrestling company,” Dreamer said. “I just went to Impact because Scott D’Amore and Don Callis called me up and said Sonjay Dutt is hurt. He can’t fly, and I need your help. That’s all he had to say. We didn’t even talk money, we didn’t talk anything. He was a friend that needed help. I said cool, just give me a plane ticket.

“We discussed everything after. Same thing for WWE. If WWE ever needs my help, I’ll help them out. They’ve had so many guys from House of Hardcore. If they think it will be a great surprise for Philadelphia, then I’ll be there. If not, then I’ll be very, very happy just being me.”
