WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg recently spoke with the Bleacher Report’s Graham GSM Matthews to discuss his past issues with Riddle and whether he’d be interested in working a match with him the future.
For those who may not recall, the two men were involved in a backstage verbal altercation at SummerSlam 2019. The altercation came after Riddle called out Goldberg on social media for being a terrible wrestler.
Goldberg now appears to be open to a match with the “Original Bro”, saying,
“I think Riddle and I have had a little bit of a controversial past. I’d love to pop him in the face a couple of times.”
As far as a rematch with Roman Reigns is concerned, Goldberg said, “But I owe Roman [Reigns] something, for sure. I’d always like to get Brock again, but, you know, hey, beggars can’t be choosers. Hey, if it happens it happens, and if not, I just got to deal with it. I’ll catch them on the street or something.”
Roman Reigns defeated Goldberg via submission at the 2022 WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event in Saudi Arabia. That was the last time we’ve seen Goldberg in the ring.
