As seen during Sunday night’s Slammiversary pay-per-view event, Rhino made his return to Impact Wrestling. As noted, he came out (with a mask on) following Brian Cage’s win over Michael Elgin for the Impact Wrestling Title and “gored” Elgin to set up a new feud. For what it’s worth, Rhino is still under contract with WWE until July 17th.
Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin is reporting that Rhino’s incognito appearance at Slammiversary won’t be landing him in hot water with WWE. He said,
Spoke to a source in WWE who confirmed Rhyno's WWE contract expires on July 17, but they said the company is unlikely to make an issue out of his masked appearance at Slammiversary over the weekend.
