As noted, Rob Gronkowski is no longer under WWE contract after exercising an out clause that was in his agreement. Gronk’s wrestling career was always contingent on if he was going to be back playing football and under terms of his contract with the NFL, he is not allowed to wrestle. The feeling is that he’s “done” with WWE but the door is always open for a return down the road whenever he finally decides to retire from the NFL for good. Gronkowski has not been private with the fact that he has always wanted to wrestle one match and there’s a good chance that if it happens, a major PPV like WrestleMania, SummerSlam or the Saudi event would be the destination for it to happen.
