AEW President Tony Khan has confirmed that “Grand Slam” will be returning to New York City later this year.
As the ring crew was setting up for Rampage following this week’s live episode of Dynamite, Khan came out and announced that AEW would be seeing them again in several months for the annual “Grand Slam” event at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York.
While the exact date isn’t confirmed just yet, the first AEW “Grand Slam” event took place on September 22nd. That show drew 20,177 fans, which is AEW’s largest audience to date.
