Jake Atlas was arrested in Orlando, Florida for domestic assault on his partner last month.
Atlas had been out drinking the night before and called his partner to pick him up. The victim told officers that Atlas wanted him to go to another friend’s home, but Atlas was upset his partner was ‘showing more attention’ to her than he was to Atlas.
Atlas became physically aggressive with his partner. There was another altercation during which Atlas scratched his partner’s forearm and ripped his tank top.
TMZ reported today that the case against Atlas has been dropped. Officials noted in the court documents that they are not opting to prosecute Atlas:
“From the investigation which has been made, it is the opinion of the writer that this case is not suitable for prosecution. The court records show that there was a hearing scheduled for 6/28.”
