Although Jake “The Snake” Roberts hasn’t appeared on AEW television in quite a while, the WWE Hall of Famer is still with the Tony Khan-owned company and hopes to be back soon, whether it’s managing Lance Archer, doing commentary, or something else.
Roberts, battling recent health issues, addressed his status on his “Snake Pit” podcast.
Roberts said, “Whatever AEW wants out of me, I’m there. Whether it’s managing Lance or doing something behind the scenes trying to help kids. I’ve been approached to do something where we visit hospitals and stuff and I’m very very excited to do it. It’s near and dear to my heart, hopefully we’re able to hit some rehab [centers] too where we can talk to some people and help them break the corner…I’m hoping AEW will give me the opportunity (to do commentary), but they may not. I don’t know. I would love to do it.“
