According to a report from SportsKeeda, “multiple industry experts” are claiming that James Storm will be headed to WWE shortly. As previously reported here on eWrestlingNews.com, Storm’s contract with iMPACT! Wrestling expires in January and the last set of TV tapings were his final dates with the company.
With that being said, Storm is now taking independent bookings through Bill Behrens at SBI Bookings. That would seem to indicate that he’s not going to WWE any time soon. Of course, it’s possible that Storm is looking for work while WWE waits the usual ninety days after the end of a contract to begin negotiations with a new free agent. WWE has a policy in place where they do not negotiate with a performer until three months after their contract with another company is up.
