During a recent interview with Dark Puroresu Flowsion, AEW Women’s Champion Jamie Hayter revealed that she’s more than willing to run it back with Hikaru Shida. The two previously faced off against each other on the December 21st episode of AEW Dynamite. Hayter said,
“I would happily wrestle Shida, she is the real deal. She almost made me believe I might not beat her. But I loved the challenge. I think doing it on a bigger stage at a PPV will make things much more intense and raise the stakes even higher. Having that ‘big match feel’ always escalates the situation and I think she has even more to give. I want the challenge.
“Miyu [Yamashita] is another very talented woman who I want to wrestle. I really like her style. I would like to wrestle her in America, but I would LOVE to wrestle her in her home of Japan. Either works for me. That’s something I hope can happen in the future.”
