Japanese wrestling legend, Manami Toyota retires tomorrow after a 30 year career. She is widely considered by many to be the greatest female wrestler of all-time. Toyota’s career started in All Japan Women’s Pro Wrestling in 1987 at the age of 16. She was one of the biggest names in women’s wrestling throughout the 90’s, even competing in the Tokyo Dome. Her final matches will take place at Osanbashi Hall in Yokohama, Japan.
Toyota is set to compete in 50 consecutive one minute long matches against both male and female talent. Some of the talent involved are some of her biggest rivals and tag partners, including retired legends Bull Nakano, Toshiyo Yamada and Carlos Amano.
