Jay White believes Sasha Banks is a major star and would make a great addition to the Bullet Club, should she choose to join New Japan Pro Wrestling.
The rumors surrounding Sasha Banks (the real-life Mercedes Varnado) are that she’ll be appearing at Wrestle Kingdom 17 on January 4, 2023. At that same event, the Switchblade will be defending his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Kazuchika Okada. White believes that Banks would be a great fit for Bullet Club. He said,
“She’s great. Big star. That would be another big thing that happened then, I guess. Everyone is wanting to come over and return to Wrestle Kingdom led by the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, huh? You got Kenny finally returning, maybe Sasha Banks, KAIRI coming back as well. I guess that would be cool. I haven’t met the woman myself, but if I do, I’ll say hello.”
Since walking out on WWE back in May, Banks has kept herself plenty busy. She has started a CBD company with Samuray Del Sol (the former Kalisto of WWE), walked the runway during New York Fashion Week, and has been spotted on the red carpet for major movie premieres.
Banks also filed a trademark on her real name for a multitude of uses, including pro wrestling. She has teased that something “f***ing crazy” was coming from her soon.
