As noted, former Raw Tag Team Champion Jeff Hardy has suffered a torn rotator cuff and will undergo surgery to repair it next week.
“Once they get in there, they’ll figure out more about what they have to repair,” said Hardy in an interview with WWE.com. “But for sure, the rotator cuff has to be repaired, and then they’ll look at the labrum when they get in there.”
For those who are wondering how long he will be out of action for, if you recall, Erick Rowan and Shelton Benjamin both recently had surgery for a torn rotator cuff and were out of action for seven months. By assuming a similar recovery time, it would put Hardy’s recovery time at around early May of 2018. Thus, Hardy will miss WrestleMania 34.
