PWInsider is reporting that WWE star Jeff Hardy is set to appear in Moore County Court in North Carolina on April 6, which is the day after WrestleMania. The court appearance is related to his October 3 arrest stemming from a reckless driving incident.
Hardy’s car was found in front of a liquor store and he was pulled over after leaving the store with a case of beer, “weaving badly in his lane” as he was driving. He also seemed to have “what seemed to be dried blood on his nose” from what Hardy described as a fight with his wife. The WWE star admitted to taking two shots of vodka.
After failing a field sobriety test, Hardy was “uncooperative when asked for a breathalyzer or blood sample.” A blood sample was obtained after a judge agreed to the search warrant. Hardy’s driver’s license has since been revoked.
