Jeff Jarrett recently parted ways from WWE.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jarrett and Conrad Thompson may be developing a working and business relationship with Lucha Libre AAA and could be helping the promotion expand more into the United States.
Jarrett, Thompson, AAA Director General Dorian Roldan, and Eric Bischoff recently went to dinner together in Dallas, Texas. It should be noted that Jarrett and Thompson mentioned something about going to Mexico on their podcast; however, it was never stated why.
The report notes that no deal between Jarrett and AAA has been made quite yet. AAA was reportedly looking to work with the Hall of Famer as it wanted to run more shows in the United States after their Spanish-language television deal. The report adds there were offers brought forward to the promotion, but they found them too one-sided. Talks regarding a U.S. television deal for AAA have been going on for years.
