Event Info: A stacked main card at “Bellator 162: Shlemenko vs. Grove” will be headlined by a middleweight main event pitting former division champion Alexander Shlemenko (53-9) against Kendall Grove (23-15). In addition, a heavyweight showdown pitting former WWE competitor Bobby Lashley (14-2) against Josh Appelt (12-5) will serve as the evening’s co-main event inside FedExForum. Also on the SPIKE-televised main card is a middleweight tilt between Hisaki Kato (6-2) and A.J. Matthews (8-5) and a lightweight feature fight pitting Goiti Yamauchi (19-3) against Ryan Couture (10-4).

In addition, the card is loaded with talented local fighters from the Memphis area, as well as a handful of preliminary competitors who are making their pro debuts. Amongst the group is Kimbo Slice’s son, “Baby Slice,” who will step into the cage for the first time after an injury to face Rick Bing, who will also make his first appearance as a professional. In addition, Julia Budd (8-2) will also return from an injury to face Arlene Blencowe (7-5) and 2009 Alabama Crimson Tide National Champion Eryk Anders (4-0) takes on Brian White (5-4) in a middleweight clash you do not want to miss.
