Tony Khan should have parted ways with Andrade El Idolo before the recent fight backstage, according to Jim Cornette.
Before last week’s AEW Dynamite, Andrade picked a fight with Guevara, and threw a few punches before being sent home.
Guevara did not fight back and was not sent home, but instead main evented Dynamite alongside Chris Jericho in a winning effort over Bryan Danielson and Daniel Garcia.
While speaking during a recent episode of his Jim Cornette Experience podcast, Cornette said Tony Khan could have prevented the fight. He said,
“He [Tony Khan] should have fired him [Andrade] before… But he hasn’t done housecleaning in three years.
“A couple of the people that really f*cked up bad like that f*cking Jimmy Havoc and [Joey Janela] and whatever they were allowed to matriculate out.”
It is believed that Andrade is trying to get fired by AEW and wants to return to WWE.
