Jim Ross has posted a new blog entry over at his website where he gives his thoughts on various topics. Here are the highlights.
On NXT Takeover: Caught the WWE NXT TAKEOVER TV special on the WWE Network and it was a compelling & entertaining pro wrestling, TV show. Smart, logical booking, believable in-ring action, crisp execution and excellent TV production.
On Corey Graves and Tom Phillips: Enjoyed the work of Tom Phillips and Corey Graves as the 2 man announce booth feels less busy and more efficient than most 3 man pairings. Proud of the work Tom & Cory did in focusing in the action and diligently trying to get the talents over.
On rumors of WWE wanting Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 33: It’s no secret that WWE & many of their fans would be highly interested in securing the services of @RondaRousey for WM33. Ronda’s MMA future in UFC isn’t set in stone, or so it seems at the moment, as she has no future fight on the schedule even though she would be a huge addition to UFC’s first NYC event in perhaps a rematch vs. Holly Holm. This matter regarding Rousey to WM33 will produce ample speculation as time marches on.
