Former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas believes that Ronda Rousey isn’t comfortable in her current role as a heel.

Rousey returned to WWE to win the Women’s Royal Rumble in January of this year and is in her second reign as SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Despite initially returning as a face and feuding with Charlotte Flair, Rousey turned heel as part of her program with Liv Morgan.

Speaking to Wrestling Inc, Korderas said that Rousey’s heel work lacks authenticity.

“Ronda just doesn’t seem comfortable in her heel role, or heel persona. It doesn’t feel genuine.

“Austin Theory, or somebody like that, you feel like it’s genuine. You feel like that’s the guy. With Ronda, it feels like she’s playing heel wrestling. It just doesn’t feel authentic.”

Rousey’s most recent title defense saw the former UFC fighter retain against Shotzi at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames.
