James Michael Guffey, better known as Jimmy Rave, has passed away at the age of 39, according to PWinsider.com.
Rave had been struggling with drug addiction for many years and it resulted in the amputation of his arm and, later, both of his legs. He is survived by his ex-wife Felicia, daughter Kailah, son James II, and parents Jim & Toni Guffey.
He broke into the business in 1999 where he would become a two-time NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion. He also worked for ROH, TNA Wrestling, and Dragon Gate Wrestling.
