Last night on social media, Joey Ryan confirmed that he has officially signed with a promotion and will be ending his near 20-year tenure on the independent circuit.
Although Joey did not specify which promotion he has agreed to work for, the obvious two choices are WWE and AEW.
All Elite Wrestling would seem to be more of the practical choice for Joey due to his closeness with The Elite, and the major role that he played on All In.
However, there was a report late last week that WWE was indeed interested in Joey Ryan and offered him a deal.
In any case, Joey is now a free man having settled his dispute with Lucha Underground and is now looking to start a new chapter in his career:
