John Cena will challenge Austin Theory for the WWE United States Championship in two weeks at WrestleMania 39.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there are also rumors that Cena could be competing at the 2023 SummerSlam pay-per-view event in Detroit, MI. According to reports, Cena will wrestle Logan Paul at the “Biggest Party Of Summer.”
Paul previously challenged Cena to a match at this year’s WrestleMania, but WWE booked Cena vs. Theory instead. Paul will now face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 39.
The fate of Cena vs. Paul at SummerSlam completely depends on The Champ’s Hollywood schedule.
