For the first time in 15 years, John Cena is healthy but without an announced role at WrestleMania.
With the big event being just eight days away, it would be very odd to go through the Showcase of the Immortals without an appearance from the 16-time WWE champion.
However, according to the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, that may not be the case.
Dave Meltzer is reporting that John Cena has in fact signed on for a match at the event, but details are not fully known.
Throughout this WrestleMania season, John was rumored to take part in the United States Championship match with Samoa Joe but that role is being filled by Rey Mysterio.
John was also heavily speculated to face Kurt Angle in his farewell match. The speculation increased when the backlash to the Baron Corbin announcement became so overwhelming.
According to in the report, John is not expected to face Kurt Angle at this time.
