After John Cena made his return to WWE at Money in the Bank, Cena looked set to be entering a Universal Championship feud with Roman Reigns. But despite this looking set to be WWE’s plan for Cena’s return, he will also be the man to kick off tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw (July 19th).

WWE would also hype Cena’s appearance on Monday Night Raw with a promotional video, in which Cena promised to not make the WWE Universe wait for answers, as he plans to “Tell you, his motivations”. You can check out the promotional video below:

If John Cena does happen to have a match on the show, it would be his first match on Monday Night Raw since January 14th, 2019. The show is also rumoured to have a major return setting up a SummerSlam feud with Bobby Lashley.
