Eerily similar to the way Dwayne Johnson disappeared from the WWE, John Cena is doing just the same. He is getting older, and more opportunities in Hollywood are allowing him to occupy his time and support his family. Fans of John Cena are concerned that one of these days, he won’t turn back up. Recently, Cena spoke with Adam’s Apple about his future in the WWE. I would like to thank Wrestling Inc. for the quote.
“Iâm old guys. Iâm old. Iâm 41 and performing 310 times a year isnât whatâs best for my overall health. I wanna be able to run the streets at 80 instead of hobbling around. Iâm at a point in my life where I need to think long-term. That doesnât mean Iâm leaving the WWE. Iâll never leave the WWE, itâs my home. But I have to think about long-term health and right now this is probably the best play for me.”
John Cena only working WWE’s big events allows him to preserve his body, and honestly, may make WWE more money. John Cena could be one of WWE’s biggest special attractions, if he goes full part-time mode.
