Former WWE Superstar John Morrison has taken aim at his former employer with his new name now that he’s back in AAA.
Morrison was released from WWE on November 18th last year, with his 90-day non-compete clause ending earlier this month.
At the Rey de Reyes show on Saturday night, Morrison returned to AAA under the new name ‘John Superstar’, which is a reference to WWE’s term used for professional wrestlers.

This is the eleventh name for the former ECW World Champion, who has gone by the following names:
- John Hennigan (his real name)
- Johnny Nitro
- Johnny Blaze
- Johnny Onyx
- Johnny Spade
- Johnny Ultra
- Johnny Blackcraft
- Johnny Impact
- Johnny Mundo
- John Morrison
- John Superstar
