As reported by Last Word on Pro Wrestling, WWE is working through yet another creative shake-up this week. Along with the hiring of Dave Schilling and, apparently, Dana Warrior, WWE also sees the exit of Johnny Russo, who was reportedly a key figure in the creative direction for the women. Russo had been working with the WWE since 2011
If this is the case, this may make sense as to why WWE has brought on Dana Warrior to have a woman’s perspective because maybe they want a new direction for the women’s division.
Regardless, the departure of Johnny Russo and all of the new hirings backstage show the WWE definitely in a period of transition.
