Jon Moxley has made it clear he wants to face the Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows) at NJPW Resurgence. Laying down a challenge to the pair, Moxley said he was meeting a friend for some beers in LA on August 14th, and so he and the “friend” will be challenging the current Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions at Resurgence. This mystery partner was never named.

NJPW Resurgence is scheduled for Saturday, August 14th. The pay-per-view will air from The Torch at the LA Coliseum. The full match card at the time of writing is as follows:
- Alex Coughlin vs Karl Fredericks – Singles match
- Fred Rosser, Rocky Romero and Wheeler Yuta vs TJP, Clark Connors and Ren Narita – Six-man tag team match
- Jon Moxley and TBA vs The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows) – Tag team match
- Jay White (C) w/ Gedo vs David Finlay w/ Juice Robinson – Singles match for the NEVER Openweight Championship
- Lance Archer (C) w/ Jake Roberts vs Hiroshi Tanahashi – Singles match for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship
