During Sunday night’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view event, Jon Moxley defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi to capture the interim AEW World Championship.
The finish of the match came when Moxley hit Tanahashi with the Death Rider.
Following the bout, all of the competitors involved in this Wednesday’s Blood & Guts match on Dynamite came out and brawled with each other.
Once CM Punk is able to return from foot surgery, he’ll be facing off against Moxley to crown an undisputed champion.
