Juice Robinson is a good example of what can happen if you leave the WWE system behind in an effort to take a chance of yourself. The current IWGP United States Champion was a recent participant in Ring of Honor’s 10 questions Q&A.
In response to a question that asked what was his most embarrassing moment in wrestling he simply pointed to the entirety of his time in NXT by saying, “Everything that was CJ Parker.”
Juice then gave some credit WWE Superstar Natalya for giving him the best advice he’d heard in his career:
“Nattie Neidhart told me at my WWE tryout to “never take no for an answer.” I never forgot that. I tell people that now when they ask me how to “make it.” Also, Jimmy Jacobs and Truth Martini would always tell me, “If it’s good, it’s good.” I love that because so many people believe there’s a right way and a wrong way to do professional wrestling. There’s not. Everyone does it a little different, and if it’s good, it’s good.”
Juice also discussed what an honor it will be to work in Madison Square Garden. To read the full Q&A, click here.
