Jushin “Thunder” Liger has a alter-ego “Kishin Liger” that has only appeared a few times over the years. Kishin has made his presence felt in 1996, 2006, 2012, and now in 2019.
The rare alter-ego is a variation of The Great Muta gimmick which relies on bloody/evil tactics, and even the use of Asian Mist which differs from his normal characteristics and moveset.
Minoru Suzuki unmasked Liger at Destruction in Kogashima and said he wanted “the real Liger.”
