Former WWE Superstar Kairi Sane has teased a return to the company to compete in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships Tournament.
On last week’s SmackDown, WWE confirmed that a tournament to crown new champions will start on tonight’s RAW.
After Asuka, Sane’s former tag partner, vowed in a tweet that she will be “the tag team champion again” and questioned where her partner is, Sane responded with an image of the two.
Sane and Asuka were WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions as the Kabuki Warriors from 2019-2020.
In 2020, Sane returned to Japan to serve as a company ambassador and spend more time with her family.
She left the promotion in December 2021 when her contract expired and has since worked with STARDOM.
