As we’ve noted, STARDOM star Hana Kimura committed suicide at the age of 22 last Saturday. Kimura was the victim of cyberbullying as a result of an incident that occurred on the reality series Terrace House.

According to a report from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE star Kairi Sane alerted STARDOM of the “goodbye” social media post that Kimura made shortly before taking her own life. The report added that the online bullying came from fans of the Terrace House program, not wrestling fans.

After seeing the social media post, Sane called Jungle Kyona and STARDOM CEO/founder Rosey Ogawa to warn him. Kyona was the one who went to Kimura’s apartment to check on her, but sadly arrived too late.

After that, firefighters and an ambulance were called to the scene. It had been reported that Kimura died after ingesting hydrogen sulfide, but no other details were released. Police sources told Japanese media that Kimura was found with a plastic bag over her head and a container of the sulfide was found nearby. Several suicide notes were found in her room.

If you are feeling like you want to take your own life, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.
