Reigning NWA Worlds Women’s Champion Kamille recently spoke with “Instinct Culture” about her current goals for the company and her desire to see the NWA reach new heights.

You can check out some highlights from the interview below:

On her goals for the company: “I mean, with NWA, I just want us to grow. I want people to really give NWA a chance because I think a lot of people think, ‘Oh, just because it’s old school maybe I won’t like it.’ I’ve said it a million times and I’ll say it again, if you give anything a chance in the NWA, watch the women’s division, because I can promise you will have a good time watching those matches. The girls are feisty, hit hard, and tell a good story. It’s just a fun match to watch every single time it’s on the card. Maybe I’m biased, but I do think that. Not just my matches, but all the women on the card. So I just want us to grow.”

On being part of the company’s show in Mexico: “I mean, I went to Mexico for the big festival Billy (Corgan) was doing there and that was amazing. That was so much fun because the culture there, they love wrestling. Then they had a couple of people who went over to Australia for a tour as well. I think we’re about to do in August, Billy’s touring, and he’s bringing wrestling as a part of that as well. So it’s like, NWA is now starting to spread out and get out there. I think we’re just really trying to find our place. You know, where’s NWA going to fall in the wrestling landscape?”

Brett Lauderdale has claimed that GCW’s Tournament Of Survival 2023 event is breaking the show’s record for attendance. The event takes place this weekend in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and Lauderdale took to Twitter to hype the record-attendance figure. He wrote,

“Super excited to announce that #GCWToS8 has just blown past TOS7 and for the 3rd straight year we will have an all time record crowd in attendance for TOS at the showboat.

Thanks everyone for the unbelievable support. See ya Saturday”

Swerve Strickland joined forces with The Embassy on AEW TV this past April, and Toa Liona believes it was an exceptional moment.

On the latest episode of the “AEW Unrestricted” podcast, Liona discussed Strickland partnering with the group to form the Mogul Embassy. He said,

“I just remember Kaun saying that there were talks that we were gonna be a part of the Mogul Embassy, [that we were] gonna do a merger. I knew who Swerve was, I feel like everyone does. I agree with his statement from the past year too, I feel like he’s one of the best accusations of AEW and I feel like his stock has been on the rise as well.”

“To be partnered up with him, to be put with Swerve? I’m thinking we’re starting to find [ground] again, here we go, like more opportunities, more spotlight, more TV time, more time for us to excel on what we can do, you know what I mean? Especially Me and Kaun, we’ve barely scratched the surface of what we’re capable of doing. Us as a tag team, we’ve only had maybe six or seven matches together within this timeframe. We’re very, very hungry for more, so the fact that we get put with someone like Swerve, someone that’s already established? I feel like it’s a great pairing.”
