Kane Suffers Legitimate Injury Before WWE Extreme Rules

As noted, WWE originally announced in an article on their official website that Kane suffered a broken ankle at the hands of The Bludgeon Brothers (Harper & Rowan) attack at the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

It turns out that it was later revealed that Kane was seen earlier in the day with a boot on his ankle as well as at a campaign function last week, so the injury does appear to be legitimate. It’s expected that Kane will remain off of television while he’s recovering from this injury.
