Eddie Kingston and Jun Akiyama took to Twitter following their AEW Full Gear Zero Hour pre-show match to show respect to each other. Akiyama wrote,
“I was disappointed with the outcome of my match, but I was glad to fight against him.
Thank you, Eddie.”
Kingston would later respond, writing,
