Karrion Kross had a lot of success in WWE NXT, but things went sideways during his first stint on the WWE main roster before he was let go.
Kross returned to WWE in August, where he started a program with Drew McIntyre.
During a recent interview with the Mirror, Kross revealed that he had talks with AEW prior to his WWE return.
This was previously reported by Fightful as Kross turned down an offer to work a match with Wardlow where he would’ve lost and Scarlett would not have been with him. W. Morrissey took his place.
“There was an idea that was proposed to me to come and do something there [at AEW]. But it was just so abundantly clear to me from dealing with fans face to face, that a WWE return was what people wanted to see.”
