Kenny Omega made his AEW return on Friday’s episode of Rampage: Grand Slam to help Chris Jericho fight off Don Callis’ family.
Jericho went after Sammy Guevara following the events that unfolded on Dynamite earlier this week, but the veteran star got ambushed in a two-on-one attack from Guevara and Konosuke Takeshita.
Guevara attempted to nail Jericho with a screwdriver, but Omega made the save.
Following the segment, Omega spoke backstage and said it wasn’t about helping Jericho but instead seeking revenge against Callis.
Jericho walked in and declared they had a common enemy and challenged Takeshita and Guevara to face him and Omega at AEW WrestleDream 2023.
