With news breaking that Cody & Brandi Rhodes have left AEW after working without a contract, we now have an update on another top star’s contract expiration date.
According to Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Kenny Omega’s AEW contract will expire on February 1, 2023. That means Omega has a little under a year left on his current deal.
Kenny Omega has not wrestled in AEW since losing his AEW World Championship to “Hangman” Adam Page at Full Gear 2021 last November. As of the time of writing, there is no clear indication on when Omega is set to return.
