Recently taking to Instagram, Kevin Nash claimed that The Kliq is the most powerful faction in professional wrestling history.

Sharing an image of himself, Scott Hall, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Sean Waltman, he wrote:

“The Kliq. I just see 4 of my brothers. 9 HOF rings between us. Would and should be 10 but Paul won’t put HHH in solo. I often see ratings on factions. NWO, 4 Horseman, Evolution, Shild, All elite. Bullet Club. I honestly feel that the Kliq is the most powerful faction. One it’s a shoot. Two 2 members run the number one wrestling product in the world and three read one and two again. It wasn’t booked it was divine Intervention. I’ve lived a blessed life. I’ve suffered great loss. But at 63 years old I still have 3 men I can count on with my life.”

A brief history of The Kliq

The Kliq was a backstage group in the World Wrestling Federation during the 1990s that consisted of Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Triple H, and Sean Waltman. They were known for their backstage influence and controversial actions within the wrestling industry.

While they wielded massive power backstage, it was after Nash, Hall (and eventually Waltman) left for WCW that all men reached the pinnacle of their careers. While Shawn Michaels had to stay retired from the ring for several years due to a back injury (but not before forming D-Generation X alongside Triple H), Triple H rose to become a bonafide main event talent and leader of DX following HBK’s retirement (and today a 14-time World Champion and WWE’s Head of Creative).

Kevin Nash and Scott Hall went to WCW and founded the nWo alongside Hulk Hogan. Meanwhile, Sean Waltman joined WCW and the nWo shortly thereafter, before coming back to WWE to join DX.
