UPDATE: In an update on Jaxson Ryker’s pro-Trump tweet on Monday (original report below), numerous WWE Superstars have taken to Twitter to respond. Names such as Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Ricochet & Mustafa Ali all chimed in and they aren’t happy. Batista, Hangman Page, Ryan Nemeth, and Joey Janela also reacted, which you can see below:
The freedom you speak of entitles you to speak your mind all you want. I’m not here to argue that. I just really need to tell you that I think you pushing your shitty wrestling catchphrase as all of this is happening is absolutely fucking pathetic.
Good night. https://t.co/d34xdOXZr6

Literally built on oppression. https://t.co/yi26CWPgz6

I’m thankful you posted this because I’m now aware of what you stand for. When black brothers and sisters are crying, you praise someone that refuses to acknowledge their hurt. https://t.co/O4xm5L3Rpl

I get you’re a “bad guy” on tv. And I’m HOPING that’s all this is. Even then, that ain’t it. But if this is actually your true thoughts – I’ll be really sad, man. 😔 https://t.co/9unml5rsiY

I’m just keeping him nameless because he’s a sorry ass motherfucker who I refuse to let ride my coattails. He gets no love from me. He gets no rub from me. And if he would like to discuss it in person we have enough mutual acquaintances that he will be able to find me easily. https://t.co/IW25S376L4

Sorry pal not a liberal… just obviously know what’s wrong is wrong…

This braindead milkshake of a tweet reads like you shook your phone and words just fell out randomly.

ORIGINAL: WWE SmackDown Superstar Jaxson Ryker took to Twitter on Monday, showing some support for President Donald Trump. As you’d expect, his tweet was heavily criticized by many. For those unaware, Ryker (Gunner in TNA Wrestling) teams with Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler as The Forgotten Sons. He said,
“Thankful for the @POTUS we have! God bless America. Built of freedom. Forgotten No More.”
Ryker made the tweet shortly after police in Washington, DC tear gassed and flash bombed some protesters who were demonstrating peacefully. The protesters were in Lafayette Park near the White House and they were there before any curfew went into effect. The reason for gassing the protesters was so Trump could walk across the street to St. John’s Episcopal Church and hold a bible for a photo-op.
Thankful for the @POTUS we have! God bless America. Built of freedom. Forgotten No More
