As seen on this week’s WWE SmackDown! Live broadcast, Kevin Owens turned on The New Day after he attacked Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods during the main event. During Kingston’s match with Shinsuke Nakamura, Owens, who was on commentary with Xavier Woods during the match, attacked Kingston and Woods.
During the post match segment, Owens told Kofi that he was coming for the World Championship. As of this writing, Kingston vs. Owens has not officially been announced for the Money in the Bank pay-per-view event but that is obviously the direction WWE is heading in.
As many of you know by now, Big E. will be out for quite some time with a knee (torn meniscus) injury.
The #NewNewDay is cancelled.
