Former WWE NXT Champion Killer Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux are reportedly earning just as much outside of WWE as they did when employed by the company.
Kross and Bordeaux were both released in November 2021 as part of budget cuts by WWE.
Prior to his release, Kross had enjoyed two reigns as NXT Champion and a poorly-received call-up to RAW while Scarlett never got the chance to compete on TV.
While speaking on The Wrestling Inc. Daily podcast, Bordeaux touted their success since being cut by the company:
“Financially, I will just say it — we are making the same as a WWE main roster salary.”
Kross added that he expected to be earning a respectable amount on the indies but expected it to be far later. He said:
“I knew that we were going to be able to. I just didn’t know that it was going to happen this fast.”
Kross has said that he had “no idea” what was left for him after being released but that his e-mail inbox was filled with offers.
