Kofi Kingston Reacts To His Match Being Scrapped From WrestleMania 38 (Night One) – “It Hurts”

UPDATE: In addition to Sheamus, Kofi Kingston has now taken to Twitter to react to his match being cut from WrestleMania 38 (Night One). He said,

“To be in the business for an extended duration of time is to experience the highest of highs as well as lowest of lows. Yes, it hurts; but we take it and we use it to propel us forward.”

As many of you know by now, The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) vs. Sheamus and Ridge Holland (w/ ‘Butch’) match was being advertised for the show.

According to earlier reports, the match was expected to be kept short and would have taken place following the SmackDown Women’s Title match between Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair.

ORIGINAL: The scheduled match between Sheamus & Ridge Holland vs. The New Day was pulled from WWE WrestleMania 38 (Night One). The talk backstage is that it was cut due to time constraints.

While there aren’t any matches that have been advertised for Sunday night’s WrestleMania 38 (Night Two) Kickoff show, it’s possible the bout will be added to that show.

Following the news that the match had been cut from the show, Sheamus took to Twitter to react, simply posting a scissors emoji.
