Rey Mysterio will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame later this month, but who will induct the former World Champion isn’t so certain.
Not long after Rey’s induction was announced, it was reported that Konnan would be doing the honors, but WWE has yet to confirm this.
While speaking to “Muscle Man Malcolm,” Konnan said that any plans for him to induct Rey are still in the “negotiating” process. He said,
“I would be very disappointed if it wasn’t me, but Rey has asked me, so we’re still like negotiating. Until they put it out there until they officially announce it, I really can’t say anything on it, but I have been contacted.”
Mysterio will be inducted alongside the Great Muta, Andy Kaufman, and others yet to be announced.
It has been reported that Stacy Keibler will be inducted as part of this year’s class.
