Konnan has made it clear that he is no fan of Johnny Gargano, and has encouraged higher-ups in WWE to “listen to the crowd.”
After returning to WWE last year, Gargano has been a regular on Monday Night RAW but recently returned to NXT to feud with Grayson Waller on Shawn Michaels’ behalf.
Speaking on the latest episode of his podcast, “Keepin’ It 100,” Konnan argued that Gargano is being over-pushed when discussing his recent victory over Finn Balor. He said,
“Bro, I’m not hating, just stating and tell me if there’s someone more over-pushed than Gargano. Has he even done a job? Bro, he’s not over. Listen to the crowd.”
Konnan will appear at this month’s WWE Hall of Fame ceremony to induct his long-time friend and three-time former World Champion Rey Mysterio.
