On a recent edition of his “Keepin’ It 100” podcast, AAA booker Konnan criticized The Young Bucks’ recent work, noting that while Matt and Nick Jackson are still having good matches, they appear to lack motivation. K-Dogg said,
“They don’t seem motivated. They just don’t seem motivated the last few months, you know what I’m saying. They still brought it in the ring. But their backstage promos weren’t that good and they just, I don’t know, they’ve kind of become stale.”
This came after Disco Inferno stated that while FTR present themselves as the top guys in AEW, The Young Bucks, who are EVPs, do not.
The Young Bucks recently signed a new “NBA-like” multi-year deal with AEW.
