Former New Japan Pro Wrestling competitor Kota Ibushi is currently a free agent. Ibushi’s contract with NJPW expired earlier this month, rendering the sought after athlete unattached to any promotion.
Dark Puroresu Flowsion recently spoke to Ibushi, who revealed that he is willing to consider a WWE offer as long as the company “allowed him to also train & create the next generation of wrestlers at the Performance Center.”
The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion also noted he’d want “some high profile matches.”
Ibushi will wrestle Mike Bailey at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 9 on March 30 from the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Los Angeles, California.
