Kurt Angle has told fans that he is doing much better after undergoing double knee surgery last year.

In May 2022, the Olympic Gold Medalist underwent double knee replacement surgery and told fans the following month that he will never wrestle again.

While speaking on The A2theK Wrestling Show, Kurt spoke about recovering from the surgery. He said,

“I’m doing well. I will tell you this. It’s a long process. I was improving dramatically the first few months and I kind of hit a wall where my knees are sore all of the time. I’m not sure if this is going to last forever.

“I do rehab them every day. I don’t know if I’m overtraining them. I might be, might not be, but at this point in time, I’m doing really well. My legs are stronger now than they were before the surgery. So that’s a bonus.”

Angle also discussed possibly appearing at RAW is 30 later this month and pitching an idea for WrestleMania 39.

The Olympian’s most recent match saw him lose to Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35 in April 2019.
