Kurt Angle On Tonight’s RAW Appearance: “I’m Ready For It”

Kurt Angle (who won a gold medal in the Olympics with a broken freakin’ neck, might he remind you) is scheduled for tonight’s episode of RAW in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. Angle says he’s excited to find out what he’ll be doing, and discussed the appearance on an episode of his “The Kurt Angle Show” podcast.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On how the appearance came to be: “I’m gonna be on Raw! I’m ready for it… It’s in Pittsburgh, PA. They knew Kurt Angle lived in Pittsburgh and they called me up and said ‘Do you want to be a guest on the show?’ I said ‘Of course I do.’”

On what he’ll be doing: “I will find out when I get there.”

Kurt Angle has not competed in a WWE ring since losing his retirement match to Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35. He turned down an offer as Riddle’s manager to focus on his own health, but he would be involved with the Original King of Bros in a less formal capacity.

Angle appeared as the special guest referee in the Fight Pit match which saw Riddle taking on Timothy Thatcher. That match took place in NXT on May 27, and two days later, The Olympic gold medalist was seen on SmackDown, welcoming Riddle to the blue brand.

Kurt Angle was last seen on WWE programming back on June 27, 2022, congratulating John Cena via video message on Cena’s 20th anniversary.
